Shipping Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, and inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines.
Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards.
Produce products that meet or exceed the customers' (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service.
Provide positive people oriented work environment, designed to build morale.
Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control.
Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
SAP experience a plus.
Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; College Degree preferred

Base Salary range of $95,842 +/- based on experience
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan. The amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
