CNC Machinist - $55K-$65K/Year, 5+ Years Experience

Position Summary
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Lincoln, RI seeking a skilled CNC Machinist on 1st shift. This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components used in waterworks, wastewater, and infrastructure-related applications. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Modify machine offsets and make minor program edits as required.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or machining certification preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with Mastercam, G-code programming, or CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
