Overview

Aerotek is hiring Commercial Construction Laborers for waterproofing and commercial construction projects in the Natick, MA area. This full-time role supports waterproofing crews, caulkers, and installers by preparing work areas, handling materials, assisting with equipment setup, and maintaining safe and organized job sites. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing physical work in outdoor construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites by staging materials, setting up work areas, and supporting waterproofing operations
• Load, unload, and transport sealants, membranes, primers, tools, and safety equipment throughout the site
• Clean and prepare surfaces by scraping, grinding, washing, and vacuuming substrates
• Assist waterproofing technicians and caulkers with masking, mixing materials, and equipment setup
• Follow OSHA safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pressure washers, and grinders safely
• Perform general labor duties including debris removal, cleanup, moving ladders, and supporting scaffolding work
• Support precise waterproofing work by measuring accurately and following instructions carefully
• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow on active construction sites

Requirements

• Experience in general labor or construction environments preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working on construction sites for extended periods
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools and their safe operation
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn waterproofing techniques
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain organized work areas
• Strong teamwork skills and reliable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior commercial construction experience on large-scale projects
• Basic understanding of waterproofing systems, membranes, primers, and sealants
• Comfort working on scaffolding or lifts under supervision
• Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced job site environments
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship

Work Location: In person

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Natick, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
