Located near Albany, you'll cover a leave position, working full time within an innovative educational environment that welcomes therapists with diverse backgrounds—even if you haven’t worked in a school setting or with IEPs before. Guidance and mentorship are available, particularly with school-based documentation and processes.

Key Qualifications:

• Active physical therapy license
• Experience in any physical therapy setting—no prior school-based work required
• Willingness to learn school documentation and participate in team coaching
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative attitude
• Commitment to providing quality, compassionate care to a wide age range (K-22)

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assess students’ needs and implement physical therapy interventions to help them thrive in their educational setting
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop strategies for student success
• Document services and progress efficiently, receiving support as needed
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school community by sharing your expertise
• Adapt interventions for a variety of functional needs, from mobility to fine and gross motor skills
