Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support the Title Team in a specialized post foreclosure role. This high-volume, fast-paced position requires deductive reasoning, clear and concise communication, strong organization, and problem-solving skills, along with a desire to learn and grow with the firm. The Title Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing post foreclosure title and supporting documents, reviewing title commitments, submitting HUD/VA conveyance packages, preparing and filing legal documents, as well as curing and managing title issues, coordinating the seller side of REO closings, and communicating with clients on the delays or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of title reports completely and identifying issues.
• Documenting & communicating review results to client.
• Establishing an accurate chain of title, preparing post sale conveyance documents.
• Identify title issues & communicate them to the client.
• Initiate title curative actions and follow up on title issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
• May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Experience and Skills :

• Extremely detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Used to working in fast-paced, high volume, team environment.

Qualifications :

• 2-3 Years real property title experience.
• Must have working knowledge of county real property indexing, and what constitutes a valid lien. 
• Must be able to proof read with precision and accuracy.

Work Schedule:

The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position typically ranges from $24 - $26 an hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
