Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Join our team in Redding, CA at a hospital setting, where you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, document results, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS required.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• Experience with vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Experience using Cerner and Merge (PACS) preferred based on client systems.
• Experience with Philips Epiq 5 or similar vascular ultrasound equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with in-house radiology coverage and no Registered Radiology Assistant support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital-based vascular lab experience preferred.
• Experience with department-specific orientation processes preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital call procedures and a 30-minute response expectation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1700.
• Schedule pattern: 4x10 shifts per week.
• Typical shift note: 0700-1730, Monday through Friday; call responsibilities included with a 30-minute response time.
• Weekend requirement: Yes.
• Holiday requirement: Occasional.
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation with 12 hours of orientation noted.
• Charting system: Cerner; PACS: Merge.
• Average studies per day: 6–7 vascular studies.
• Scrub color: Teal.
• No self-scheduling allowed.
• Must be able to float to other facilities if required.
