Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Familiarity with basic computer functions, internet, e-mail, navigation of desktop applications, and completion of online HR and training tasks.
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visits.
• Experience providing care in home health settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 23 years of experience as a licensed PTA working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist preferred.
• Experience managing a home health caseload preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Evenings, schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts per week.
• Work setting: Home visits within the local service area; periodic office meetings.
• Must be able to travel within the local region and provide visits in patient homes.
