Group Fitness Instructor

Studio LFT Coach Reports To: STUDIO Team Lead Compensation: $30.00 per hour Job Purpose Certified Personal Trainers delivering high‑energy group strength training workouts while providing exceptional member experiences. They coach, correct movement patterns, and support members in a results‑driven environment. Responsibilities Ensure punctuality and proper setup for each class. Demonstrate exercises safely and accurately with correct form and modifications. Lead and engage members throughout predetermined workouts. Provide professional, enthusiastic, and approachable coaching. Respond promptly to member needs and concerns. Recommend VASA Fitness products and amenities appropriately. Invite non‑studio members to attend studio LFT classes to increase attendance. Coach individuals at their personal fitness levels, providing modifications. Maintain organization, multitask, and communicate effectively. Perform post‑class cleaning, sanitizing, and organization. Promote the studio LFT program on social media and celebrate member wins. Accept coaching feedback and participate in continuous improvement. Attend classes from other studio LFT coaches to learn and improve skills. Minimum Qualifications 1 year experience in personal training, small group training, CrossFit, collegiate/private strength & conditioning, or group fitness strength training formats. NCCA‑accredited Personal Training Certification. Current CPR/AED Certification. Experience leading, communicating, coaching, teaching, or facilitating a group of people. General knowledge of kinesiology, exercise science, or related fields. Passionate about fitness and helping others reach goals. Promotes an upbeat, enthusiastic, high‑energy environment. Ability to travel locally for support or training as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading group classes at a specialty studio. Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology. Physical Strength: Must lift up to 50 lbs frequently for exercise demonstrations. Reasoning Ability: Manage variables with limited standardization and interpret instructions.
