Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

12-hour night shifts; floating across units required.

Orientation: 76 hours; 14-week contract.

Current Registered Nurse license (compact or state) in hand at time of submission.

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.

Minimum 1 year of travel experience.

Acute care experience must be current within the last 12 months.

EPIC charting experience required.

Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.

Key clinical skills: proficient in IV starts and central line care, telemetry monitoring, EKG and ABG interpretation, IV medication administration including vasopressors, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and emergency department procedures.

Provide care and support for patients in the Emergency Department.

Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.

Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.

Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment plans.

Request Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Vaccination for flu is required, with medical exemptions allowed. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as part of compliance.
