Job Description: The Accounting Associate will perform a variety of business office functions including accounts payable management and backup to onboarding and payroll processing. This position supports ongoing process improvements for all bookkeeping activities and helps support and communicates standards for purchasing and contract maintenance. Responsibilities: Review and process approved invoices for payment Enter and classify invoices to the correct general ledger account and location/department Monitor and resolve all account payable issues Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors Collect, prepare and process payroll for the organization (approximately 300 employees/partners) Point person for payroll related inquiries & issues Educate employees on payroll policies and procedures Additional payroll, HR related and AP functions as needed Experience/ Qualifications: Minimum 3 years accounts payable and payroll processing experience; at least 1 year with medium to large corporation Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines and handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner Superior troubleshooting and organizational skill Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $60,000 – $75,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, as well as benefits.
