Job Details Job Location: Hamilton, NJ 08619 Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year Stark & Stark is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting & Billing Clerk to join our finance team. This role will help prepare client invoices, support billing automation efforts, and assist with core accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for an individual possessing strong organizational skills, an eagerness to learn, and an interest in gaining experience within law firm. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and issue flat‑fee client invoices. Maintain organized billing files and documentation. Track billing timelines to ensure invoices go out on schedule. Assist with testing and implementing automated billing tools. Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements. Support collections by tracking past‑due balances and preparing aging reports. Communicate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing and time entry questions. Assist with month‑end and year‑end close tasks. Participate in special projects and general accounting support as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of office, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Comfort working with numbers and performing accurate data entry. Basic understanding of accounting concepts (training provided). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Clear, professional communication skills. Willingness to learn new systems and processes. Experience with legal billing or accounting software is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Stark & Stark is committed to the health and well‑being of its staff members.
