Phlebotomist-Part time

Phlebotomist – Ridgewood, NJ Work schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 - $24.00 per hour.
