Principal AI Architect

Salary: $135,500 - 203,300 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related technical field; a masters degree or PhD is preferred.
• We expect 10+ years of experience designing and delivering technology solutions across edge, cloud, and data platforms.
• We look for proven success shaping architecture for complex, distributed systems at enterprise scale.
• We need deep knowledge of modern AI technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent agent architectures, along with experience in one or more major enterprise AI ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure AI, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenAI, Anthropic, Snowflake, Databricks, SAP, or similar platforms.
• We value experience creating reusable patterns, shared services, developer frameworks, and engineering accelerators that improve enterprise AI delivery.
• We prefer experience applying AI in one or more areas such as manufacturing or industrial operations, commercial functions like sales, supply chain, or logistics, corporate functions including IT, HR, Finance, Legal, or Procurement, or geospatial and GIS use cases.
• We look for experience implementing AI governance, Responsible AI practices, model lifecycle management, evaluation frameworks, observability, or MLOps.
• We expect experience influencing technical direction across an enterprise through technical leadership rather than direct authority.
• We require excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive, business, and technical audiences.

• We define and evolve our enterprise AI architecture, reference architectures, and technical standards.
• We establish scalable, secure, and reusable architectural patterns that make AI a core enterprise capability while supporting interoperability, governance, and long-term maintainability.
• We shape the architectural foundation for enterprise AI platforms that support machine learning, generative AI, intelligent agents, and optimization.
• We guide technology strategy, platform evolution, and the adoption of emerging AI capabilities while balancing innovation, operational maturity, and business value.
• We provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, engineering standards, reusable design patterns, and technical guidance for AI solutions.
• We partner with business, product, engineering, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture teams to turn strategic opportunities into technical solutions.
• We drive alignment across the organization so AI capabilities integrate smoothly into enterprise platforms and business workflows.
• We embed Responsible AI principles across the AI lifecycle by defining architectures focused on security, governance, transparency, observability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes an annual merit-increase program, a targeted salary range of $135,500 to $203,300, eligibility for an annual incentive program with a cash bonus target of 25% of base pay, and annual restrictive stock units valued at up to $32,000.
