As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring culture that values people first, teamwork, reliability, innovation, agility, and integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and follow site protocols for restricted areas and sensitive healthcare spaces.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital location.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
