Special Education Instructional Aide

Funding for position is contingent upon receipt of Federal and State Funds.

Requirements / Qualifications

Persons interested in applying and being interviewed for the position of Special Education Instructional Aide must submit the following:

Copy of Transcript (Copy of college transcripts or degree (if candidate possesses either)
Proof of HS Graduation

Comments and Other Information

Effective January 1, 2026, all applicants for classified positions with Hawthorne School District are required to disclose a complete and accurate history of prior employment with any educational institution, regardless of duration. This includes service with school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and state special schools. This requirement is in accordance with Senate Bill 848 (SB 848).
