You will lead the technical foundation of a 1,300+ unit property management portfolio, work with autonomy, and take charge of the workflows that keep reporting reliable. You will lead a team of 3-6, create structure, define process and rules, and hold the team to clear standards for accuracy and follow-through. This is a hands-on role for someone who is technical, factual, and thorough: you will review detail, identify control gaps, use sound judgment, and improve workflows based on evidence. Success means operating with urgency and pace while remaining precise, compliant, and consistent. You will take charge when issues surface, respond decisively, and keep critical deadlines on track.ROLE HIGHLIGHTS3- 5+ years of accounting or finance operations experienceProven experience leading a finance or accounting team, with responsibility for setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, developing team members, and maintaining accountability for performance and results.Experience owning month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, AR/AP workflows, and GAAP compliance.Experience with financial reporting systems and internal control frameworksStrong organizational and problem-solving capability with close attention to accounting workAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Property management or real estate experience is a plusBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredABOUT USSimplified Real Estate supports a 1,300+ unit property management portfolio and is strengthening the finance operating foundation behind that growth.
