We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.Scope of Position: Provide community outreach to share information about the program, recruit youth, cultivate partnerships and connect participants with community resources. Provide Young Professionals Alumni Services to participants that have exited the program.Essential Functions:Develop and implement marketing strategiesRecruit applicants through proven recruitment and outreach strategies such as job fairs and career exploration events, and through social service organizations and schoolsConduct orientations on program eligibility requirements, services and partnersIdentify potential mentors for the youth population to aid in their successPartner with local area training providers and refer clients as appropriateProvide referrals to community partners when appropriateCollaborate with program partners for on-site and off-site career awareness field trips with employers and educational facilitiesPre-screen youth for program eligibility and suitabilityComplete assigned documentation with minimal errors and in a timely fashionMaintain relationships with community agencies, educational institutions and employers to maximize resources in the provision of youth servicesProvide 12 months of follow-up services post program exitDocument all participant contacts and activities in case notesOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experienceHuman Services background preferredMust have experience working with youth and young adultsMust be able to work independently with little or no supervisionGood interpersonal skillsMust be computer literateValid driver's license requiredBring your expertise to EDSI and live our values every day: Show Up, Smile and Support!EDSI is a progressive, forward-thinking, family-owned company that is Certified Evergreen.EDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
