Construction Accounting Manager

Construction Accounting Manager Position Summary: We are looking for a highly organized Accounting Manager with experience in construction accounting. The ideal candidate must be able to manage the day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate billing, job costing, and compliance with owner and subcontractor requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and submit lien releases Process subcontractor pay applications Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Job costing Monthly billing Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Payroll processing and payroll reporting Track change orders Monitor project budgets and costs Assist with month-end and year-end close Prepare financial reports for ownership Maintain vendor files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation Coordinate with project managers and estimators Qualifications Required 5+ years of accounting experience Construction accounting experience Experience processing owner pay applications Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background Experience with lien waivers and releases Excellent attention to detail Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently Preferred Experience with municipal or government contracts Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or similar construction accounting software Knowledge of Florida construction lien law Pay: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year Work Location: In person – NO remote #J-18808-Ljbffr Marc Rutenberg Homes
