TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87144!

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Minimum 10-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a full-service, combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Teaching Facility
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering high-acuity emergency nursing care
• Administer blood products, start IVs, and operate specialized equipment including Belmont, Ranger, Panda warmer, and traction devices
• Support Tele Neuro and Tele Psych patient populations as needed
• Complete a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period, with additional shifts based on department need
• Participate in required holiday coverage, working 2 out of 3 designated holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending New Mexico RN license (may be pending at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; prior travel experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with appropriate documentation
• Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility; non-local driver's license required on file

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department settings including trauma, neuro, and psychiatric patient populations
• Experience operating specialized equipment such as Belmont rapid infuser, Ranger warming unit, Panda warmer, and traction devices
