Radiologic Technologist We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in various settings including acute care, outpatient clinics, the emergency department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and the operating room. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images for accurate diagnoses. The successful candidate will be proficient in using various imaging equipment, including GE, Philips, and Siemens systems, and have a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. You will also be responsible for bedside and portable procedures, as well as trauma cases. Experience with Epic is required. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable examinations. Position patients accurately and safely for imaging procedures. Ensure proper radiation safety measures are followed, including the use of shielding and ALARA principles. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including GE, Philips, and Siemens systems. Utilize PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for image storage and retrieval. Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures, including trauma cases. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions. Provide excellent patient care and customer service. Perform quality control checks on equipment and images. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. ARRT (R) certification. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. OBMI License. Epic experience required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in performing radiographic examinations of the abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, and skull. Experience with bedside and portable procedures. Experience with C-Arm and O-ARM procedures. Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices. Strong understanding of radiation safety principles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with GE, Philips, and Siemens imaging equipment. Proficiency in using PACS.
