Trust & Estates Associate

Office Locations: Chicago We are seeking a highly-qualified associate with 2-6 years of experience to join the dynamic Trust & Estates Group in the Chicago office. The ideal candidate should have considerable experience planning and drafting for clients with taxable estates, including the transfer of multi-generational wealth through the use of GST-exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs and IDGTs and other complex estate planning instruments. The ideal candidate should also have experience with post-mortem administration, tax return preparation and/or review of Forms 706, 709 and 1041. Excellent academic credentials and strong organizational, drafting and analytical skills and experience are a must. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with both lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm are essential. Illinois bar required.
