Physical Therapist, Outpatient Pelvic

Job Title PHYS THER PD Department Community Care Physical Rehab Pay Hourly: $64.41 - $71.42 / Hour Annual Full Pay Range: $134,488 - $149,125 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Work Schedule Days, 10‑Hour Shifts, Monday‑Saturday. Schedule may include weekdays and weekends depending on candidate availability. Description This position is responsible for Physical Therapy patient service delivery, including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex pelvic health patients. It also completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care, participates in training and program development, and represents the department to the medical and general community. The role demonstrates competence in the UC San Diego Health core values. As a per diem position, the PT will provide backup coverage between multiple rehab locations and may work on both weekdays and weekends. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Physical Therapy Association. BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six (6) months of hire date. Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state of California. Prior experience in an outpatient setting. Preferred Qualifications One to three (1‑3) years of experience as a licensed PT in an outpatient setting with pelvic health patient populations. Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. May flex and float between sites as needed. Benefits & Pay Transparency Hourly Equivalent: $64.41 - $71.42. Compliance Requirements Living and work site requirements: Employment requires a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. If applicable, life‑support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands‑on practice and in‑person skills assessment; online‑only certification is not acceptable. If employed by the University of California, you will be required to comply with the Policy on Vaccination Programs, which may be amended or revised from time to time.
