Security Officer Licensed Mobile Patrol Driver (Yonkers, NY) Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building surroundings while assisting with property rules, directions, and general support at the location. Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and incidents that may impact daily operations. Minimum Requirements A New York State Security Guard License is required. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
