Commercial Insurance Service Manager

Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager/Office Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and growing small commercial insurance accounts while ensuring the smooth operation of an office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Compensation Package Base Salary : $55,000 annually Commission : 25% on new business and 5% on renewals, with potential for escalation based on sales performance Benefits : Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options Equipment provided for remote work (laptop, monitor, accessories, and VoIP phone system) Responsibilities Manage and service a book of small commercial insurance accounts, totaling approximately $1 million in premium and $150,000 in revenue. Quote new and renewal business with carriers such as Hartford, Hanover, Travelers, Chubb, Progressive, and others. Collaborate with wholesale and surplus lines brokers, including RPS, Amwins, TAPCO, and CRC. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Oversee office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality. Act as a liaison between clients and the Printing Industry Benefits Trust (PIBT) for health, dental, and vision insurance programs. Conduct outreach during the open enrollment period (October-December) and provide ongoing support throughout the year. Participate in system training and take initiative to improve agency processes. Qualifications/Requirements Licenses/Certifications : Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial P&C insurance. Technical Skills : Familiarity with Applied TAM software is preferred (training will be provided). Soft Skills : Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. Strong initiative and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
