Position Overview As a Patient Service Representative , you'll be the welcoming face and voice of our practice. You'll play a key role in creating a positive patient experience by answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting with patient inquiries, and helping patients understand their treatment and financial options. Responsibilities Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies Answering Telephones Scheduling Appointments Maintaining Appointment Book Confirming Appointments Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments Register Patients on sign in sheet Post charges and payments to patient accounts Checking voicemail on a daily basis Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients Qualifications Previous customer service experience required (healthcare experience is a plus but not required) Experience in dental, medical, or other healthcare settings preferred Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus Comfortable answering and managing phone calls in a professional manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and a passion for helping others Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Legal Disclaimer: Wecomply withall minimum wage laws as applicable.
