Bilingual Spanish Degreed Nutritionist Escondido and Ramona locations

The Degreed Nutritionist is responsible for providing nutrition and breastfeeding education to Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program participants individually and in groups to assure quality service. The Degreed Nutritionist also determines client eligibility and implements WIC Program services to eligible participants.

This position is located in Escondido with one day covering in Ramona.



  Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
•General knowledge of Spanish, and willing to learn to counsel in Spanish.
•Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*May be required to travel to different locations therefore a valid California Driver's License, proof of valind insurance and a clean driving record is required. 

Desired Qualifications:
•Bilingual in English and Spanish.
•Experience with low income, multicultural and multilingual populations.
•Knowledge of WIC program and maternal child health.

This position pays $27.83 to $38.96 on an hourly basis. ​
