Ironmark is committed to excellence and looking for people who will contribute to the companys growth./ph3What Youll Do:/h3ulliCalculate accurate labor, equipment, and material costs for wood frame and other commercial construction projects and remodels/liliReview drawings and specifications to determine quantities and calculate pricing/liliCoordinate subcontractor bids, including preparing bid invitations, reviewing incoming bids for scope and pricing, scheduling site visits with subcontractors to review the scope of projects, acquiring best pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, and developing bid presentations/liliCommunicate with low bidder for final overview and assure completeness of bid/liliDevelop and maintain positive communication with subcontractors and suppliers, including researching and qualifying new subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining lists of preferred subcontractors and suppliers to present to clients/liliParticipate in pre-bid meetings, as necessary/liliPrepare project documents, material release schedules, client information, project schedules and other documentation to assure a steady stream of information to the Project Managers/liliPresent to Owner and Architects as needed/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulli2+ years of related estimating experience working on commercial construction projects, both public and private bidding/liliExperience with hard bids/liliPassion for commercial construction/liliKnowledgeable in wood frame construction/liliMust be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications relative to the scope of work and schedule specified for each project within bid time frame/liliAbility to read plans and perform material takeoffs and estimates/liliMust be able to meet bid deadlines/liliProficient in Excel and On-screen take-off or comparable/liliAbility to communicate with other professional contractors/liliA degree and/or certification in Estimating, Construction Management, and/or Architecture is strongly preferred/li/ulh3What Youll Get:/h3pIronmark provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to help you stay healthy, feel secure, and maintain a great work/life blend.
