Since opening our doors in 1959, Cibola General Hospital has been dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of our region. Our 25-bed critical access hospital allows our compassionate workers to provide excellent patient care in an environment that supports them in their professional growth and development. Cibola General Hospital is one hour from Albuquerque and close to Santa Fe. Known for its mild year-round climate and outdoor activities, Grants New Mexico offers low property taxes and inexpensive housing costs.

Cibola General Hospital provides services in general surgery, 24-hour Emergency care, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Pathology, Podiatry, Primary Care and Radiology with X-ray, CT, MRI. We have three operating rooms including a room for scopes. Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Clinics, Lab services, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Rehab.

CGH offers retention bonuses of up to $3,500. These bonuses will be awarded every five years, starting from your fifth year as a full-time employee.

Tuition Reimbursement

Up to $5,250 per calendar year for approved programs

Certification Training Program

We are thrilled to announce that we will reimburse employees for approved and job-specific certifications, including ACLS, PALS, and EMT, for example, and will also be compensated for each certification obtained, which will be an additional $0.75 to your hourly rate for each one. This initiative is designed to support your professional growth and enhance your expertise in the field.

Employee Referral Plan

CGH rewards up to $2,000 to employees of the hospital and clinic who identify and refer potential applicants who are hired into approved positions. The referral incentive will be awarded only for applicants who are hired and successfully complete ninety (90) days of active employment in a regular full-time position in the following jobs: Registered Nurse, Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, Pharmacist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Physician, Physician's Assistant, and Nurse Practitioner.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately document and maintain patient records
• Continuously update nursing knowledge and skills through professional development activities

Requirements

Education/Licensure Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid NM Registered Nurse license
• BLS required
• ACLS, PALS preferred
• Availability to work night shift

The salary range for this position is a minimum of $40.00/BSN & $36.00/ASN. New hire offers may vary based on experience, internal equity, and market conditions in relation to our Tiered Clinical Ladder Program salary range.
