Sales Compensation Analyst

Our client in Tempe is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to support the administration and analysis of sales incentive programs. This role will partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate commission processing, maintain compensation data integrity, and provide reporting and insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Calculate and process commission and incentive payouts. Maintain compensation records and resolve data discrepancies. Analyze sales performance, quotas, territories, and plan effectiveness. Develop and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership. Support dashboard development, compensation modeling, and scenario analysis. Respond to compensation-related inquiries from sales teams. Assist with system administration, audits, and process improvements. Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate data flow and reporting. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field. Experience with incentive compensation platforms such as Xactly (preferred), CaptivateIQ, Varicent, SAP Commissions, Anaplan, Performio, or similar sales compensation and commission management systems. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
