LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide outpatient pediatric nursing care in a clinical setting, supporting physicians and healthcare teams to ensure patient well-being and safety. Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients across diverse outpatient services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor pediatric patients' health status during outpatient visits.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on health management, medication usage, and follow-up care.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric outpatient nursing experience.
• Strong understanding of pediatric health conditions and outpatient procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work 8.5-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break.
• BLS certification required.
