You will also manage the legacy Military Aftermarket and Innovations supply chain across the Sikorsky portfolio. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sikorsky Global Supply Chain, you will oversee a diverse supplier network across various commodities and market segments. The preferred location for this position is Trumbull, CT. Other major RMS locations will be considered.Key Responsibilities:Lead and define the direction and strategy for a global supply chain organization within a multi-billion dollar business.Cultivate a diverse supply chain team that embodies the RMS Cultural Imperatives.Introduce technological advancements, such as additive manufacturing and big data analytics, to enhance negotiation and overall supply chain performance.Drive business transformation through modernization of processes, tools, and technologies to boost productivity.Enhance affordability, reduce costs, improve quality and delivery, and increase efficiency in the supply chain.Implement long-term contracting strategies that support business growth and minimize the need for discrete supplier proposals and parts shortages.Expand international business by leveraging strategic global partnerships to win new business and meet offset requirements.Transition from procurement to an integrated model that manages financial, operational, and technical risks in partnership with top-tier suppliers.Engage in supplier outreach activities and collaborate with the Supplier Diversity team to build strong local partnerships.Develop and refine strategies for employee engagement, cross-functional integration, efficiencies, and talent development.Establish negotiation strategies and collaborate with other Supply Chain leaders to develop comprehensive supplier strategies for Sikorsky and RMS.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in business management or other relevant field; or equivalent experience/combined education• 15+ years’ experience in supply chain management, program management, or related field• Proven leadership skills• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high performance work teams• Excellent oral and written communication skills working across functions, programs, and senior leadership.• Proficient in understanding commercial acquisition policies and procedures, including basic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements for new and repaired components use on aircraft.• Proficient in understanding material acquisition policies and procedures including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).• Demonstrated financial acumen with a Strong financial management expertise / earned value management.• Travel ~25%• Must be willing to perform frequent domestic and international travelDesired Skills• Experience working within the Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP).• Risk Management• Program Management• Demonstrates strong leadership skills.• Commitment to talent development..• Strong Business Acumen• Knowledge of Sikorsky programs• Knowledge of Commercial program and focus on International customers• Demonstrated Leadership of large diverse organization with a focus on process improvement and efficiencyPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $180000.00 - $325000.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
