Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire cross-sectional images; generate sagittal and coronal reformats for radiologist interpretation
• Perform CT procedures and general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed per protocol
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintain accurate records, images, and billing information while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance/calibration and manage supply inventory

Requirements

• ARRT licensure with CT specialization (R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)) and ARRT-CT credential
• CT Advanced Certification required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent radiology/CT experience
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment
• Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
