Job Description
Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
- Contract Length: 16 weeks

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred
- At least two years recent experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnosis.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric.
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information while ensuring adherence to patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Conducts routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images appropriately.

Compliance / Notes:
- Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
- Adventist Health participates in E-Verify.
