Associate Vice President, International Finance About the Company Expanding private equity platform Industry Venture Capital & Private Equity Type Private Equity Firm About the Role The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for International Finance to take on a pivotal role in supporting its complex international entity structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements. This role involves direct exposure to senior leadership and global operations, and the AVP will be expected to partner with tax, legal, and external advisors to manage audits, filings, and entity-level requirements. Additionally, the role includes preparing board-level reporting, variance analysis, and executive presentations, as well as supporting global forecasting efforts through financial modeling and performance analysis. Applicants for the AVP position must have a CPA (or equivalent) and a minimum of 6 years' progressive accounting experience within a multinational environment, with a strong background in public accounting, preferably from a Big 4 or large regional firm. The role requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, experience with international entities, multi-currency environments, and statutory reporting. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with ERP systems, particularly Workday, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and will be adept at driving process improvements, automation, and system enhancements across finance operations.
