Kitchen Food Production Helpers

**Location: **Openings in San Juan, McAllen & Edinburg, TX

**Pay: **$10.50 per hour

**Schedule: **Monday–Saturday 5 AM- 6PM (depending on workload); must be available Sundays as needed

Express Pros is hiring **Kitchen Food Production Helpers **for a local Mexican restaurant! You will assist with food preparation, cooking meat, packaging, verifying temperatures, restocking supplies that often weigh up to 50 lbs , and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect raw meat and ingredients, help move supplies weighing up to 50 lbs from approved suppliers; verify temperature, quality, and documentation.

• Thaw meat under refrigeration and prepare for processing.

• Trim, cut, and cook meat to required internal temperatures.

• Clean tables and wash dishes as needed

• Shred cooked meat and mix with prepared sauces or seasonings.

• Cool and store meat mixture safely for assembly.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation procedures

Requirements:

• Kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
