Quality Inspector

This role is responsible for supporting Quality Control operations by performing inspections, verifications, and compliance activities across multiple departments. Day-to-day responsibilities Conducting line clearances and inspection activities for production areas Performing visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products Verifying labeling, inserts, and packaging components Supporting environmental and equipment monitoring (temperature, controlled environments, etc.) Documenting results and identifying trends or quality issues Initiating non-conforming material reports (NCMRs) and change orders as needed Following SOPs and ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards Communicating quality concerns, deviations, or failures to leadership Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system Assisting with document control and updates as needed Skills regulated environment gdp gmp iso 13485 cleanroom change orders sop Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 1 year of cGMP experience in a regulated production or lab environment Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Basic math skills and exposure to data trending Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Marcos, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
