The Senior Quality Engineer will support the various projects located in King of Prussia, PA. This position is focused primarily on supply chain quality engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES:Apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.Design and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.Other duties as assigned. This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and requires an Interim Secret prior to start.Must have a bachelor's degree.Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience.Familiar with Procure-to-Pay or SAP.Experience in one of the following disciplines: quality engineering, systems engineering, materials process engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Microsoft Office applications.DESIRED:Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering.Proficient in defect resolution through implementation of effective root cause corrective action.Quality MRB certification.Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.WORK LOCATION: This position is located onsite; some travel may be required.Schedules are subject to change based on the requirements of the position and/or customer needs.BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check and some positions require clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process.DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED:All Bastion employees must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and are required to participate in periodic random drug and alcohol screenings.STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS:Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.All of Bastion's employees must be team players with strong work ethics and must be culture oriented.Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.Must be organized with good time management skills and must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time) and may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
