Senior Consulting Member of Technical Staff Join to apply for the Senior Consulting Member of Technical Staff role at Jobright.ai . This position involves defining and evolving cloud-scale services, hands-on software design, development, and debugging in a cloud-native environment, and leading architecture for server lifecycle management. Responsibilities: Lead the development of cloud-scale services using microservices architecture. Establish software development best practices for rapid, high-quality deployment. Identify business KPIs and develop impactful solutions to customer problems. Hands-on software design, development, and debugging in a cloud environment. Qualifications: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience with large-scale, distributed systems and DevOps. Proficiency with Cloud Data Store primitives and Java programming. Experience operating distributed services at scale, expertise in Linux. Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and drive. Understanding of service metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and alarms. Ability to propose and lead automation, optimization, and enhancements. Mentor junior engineers. Preferred Skills: Cloud and CICD environments, Terraform, Docker. Modern build tools, multi-tenant infrastructure, security (SSL, identity). Additional Information: The role is full-time, mid-senior level, within the consulting function in software development industry.
