University of Washington: Academic Personnel & Faculty: School of Medicine: UW Medicine Primary Care Location Seattle, WA Open Date Jul 13, 2026 Description UW Medicine Primary Care, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine and the Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking an ARNP or PA-C for a Flex APP position at our Kent/Des Moines Clinic. The Flex APP does some patient care and also provides clinical support for other providers, including inbox management. This position is open to all eligible candidates, but is well suited to new career ARNPs and PA-Cs. UW Medicine has a mission: To improve the health of the public. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, hold a valid Washington State medical license, and DEA Certification. Successful candidate will be appointed as a Teaching Associate through the UW School of Medicine. We provide competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and a commitment to work‑life balance. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments aligned with a 12‑month service period (July 1‑June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12‑month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12‑month period (July‑June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care, this role will include clinical teaching responsibilities. Base salary for this position will be $10,635 per month ($127,620 per annum) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation includes a minimum guaranteed incentive for the first year of $2,000 per quarter ($8,000 per annum) through UW Physicians. The incentive is based on production and quality metrics, with a guaranteed incentive pay for achieving up to the 45th percentile of production during the period of record; exceeding this level yields a higher productivity earned incentive instead.
