Employment Type: W2 Only

Duration: Long-term Contract to Hire

Rate: $60/hr on W2

Jersey City, NJ | Wilmington, DE | Columbus, OH - Onsite

  • Candidates must be local or semi-local to one of the above locations.
  • Candidates residing within 150 miles are acceptable, provided they are ready to relocate .
  • This is an onsite position .
Position Overview


JPMC is looking for qualified Java Developers with 4+ to 12+ years of experience , ranging from mid-level through senior level .


The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience in Core Java/backend development , strong software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Required Experience & Technical Skills
  • 4+ years of recent, hands-on experience in Java/software development.
  • Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design techniques.
  • Working proficiency with the Core Java development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development .
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages .
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies , with the ability to work in at least one of the common Agile frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering techniques, including:
    • Continuous Integration (CI)
    • Continuous Delivery (CD)
    • Test Driven Development (TDD)
    • Cloud Development
    • Application resiliency
    • Application security
  • Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines .
  • Understanding of the overall software development lifecycle, including:
    • Business analysis
    • Development
    • Testing
    • Deployment
    • Maintenance
    • Continuous improvement
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java - Backend Development .
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills .
  • Ability to work independently .
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks and tickets .
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • AWS
  • React
Candidate Requirements
