Administrative Specialist

Administrative Specialist (Temporary)

LHH is partnering with a respected organization in Washington, DC to hire an Administrative Specialist for a fully onsite, temporary assignment through the end of 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and proactive professional who enjoys supporting daily office operations, coordinating workplace activities, and providing administrative support across the organization.

Location: Washington, DC (Fully Onsite 5 Days per Week)

Pay Rate: $24$27 per hour, based on experience

Duration: ASAP through December 2026, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including conference room scheduling, setup, catering, and materials preparation.
  • Support internal meetings, leadership sessions, and company events.
  • Assist with planning and execution of onsite and offsite events.
  • Manage vendor communications and event logistics from planning through completion.
  • Maintain event calendars and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and key business functions.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Arrange travel and prepare itineraries as needed.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, agendas, and other business documents.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external contacts.
  • Support special projects, research initiatives, and operational priorities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, office management, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs.
