This full-time contract opportunity involves working closely with middle school students, providing both individual and group support, and helping address a broad range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid 310 Social Work certification is required
• Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong understanding of age-appropriate interventions for adolescents
• Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services to middle school students, both individually and in groups
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement strategies that improve student well-being and school adjustment
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student support plans as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing urgent challenges
• Advocate for students and their families, ensuring access to resources and supports both within and outside the school
