Chemist for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality scientific input. This remote contractor engagement supports a leading customer in the scientific and research domain. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses and experiments supporting product development, quality control, or process optimization.
• Design and interpret complex wet-lab experiments involving chemical reactions, synthesis, and separation techniques.
• Document laboratory methods, data, and findings accurately to support reproducibility and scientific integrity.
• Evaluate experimental results critically and recommend improvements or new investigative approaches.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly with project stakeholders in writing and verbally.
• Translate complex chemistry concepts and experimental findings into actionable information for non-specialist audiences.
• Contribute domain expertise that strengthens AI training datasets and reasoning capabilities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Chemistry or a closely related field, with a PhD preferred.
• Extensive hands-on experience with wet-lab techniques, experimental design, and laboratory instrumentation.
• Deep knowledge of chemical reactions, analytical chemistry, and laboratory best practices.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and innovative problem-solving in research or applied chemistry settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary or cross-functional projects.
• Familiarity with quality-control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $70 to $90 per hour.
