Home Care Worker – ADL & iADL Support

Santa Ana, CA
Full-Time / Part-Time Available

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one on one care for older adults in the comfort of their homes. If you have experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and companionship, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining comfort, safety, and independence at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Provide incontinence care and transfer assistance
• Support IADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and help maintain client safety and independence

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to work independently and follow care plans
• CNA or HCA certification preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits

• $18–$22 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Able to assist with mobility and transfers
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Flexible availability, including some weekends
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
