\nThe Ash Group is hiring a Lead Opto Electronics Engineer (24682) for our client who designs and manufactures equipment and software to monitor micro-contamination in cleanrooms and ultra-clean manufacturing environments . This is a full-time position working in Niwot, CO (Onsite). We are offering a salary up to 170K W2, based on skill set.

What You’ll Be Doing
\n- \n
- Design and develop ultra low noise, high signal to noise analog front end electronics for optical detection systems \n
- Define requirements and specifications for photonic detectors (photodiodes, APDs, SPADs, SiPMs, and arrays) in collaboration with vendors \n
- Lead development and evaluation of optical imaging and light collection systems for weak?signal environments \n
- Analyze detector physics, noise sources, and system?level performance limitations \n
- Research and evaluate emerging photonics and detector technologies to guide R&D direction \n
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to engineering and research staff \n
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams to support advanced instrumentation development programs \n
- Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and performance \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- Must have 15+ years of relevant experience, potentially a combination of disciplines \n
- Experience taking a product/idea from concept/zero through development and into the market is required \n
- Strong optoelectronics/photonics and electrical engineering background is a must \n
- Must have a MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or related field \n
- Significant experience in: Very low level light detection systems; Low noise amplifier design and circuit architecture; Precision PCB layout for sensitive analog systems; and Optical detection and imaging systems \n
- Deep understanding of photonic detector devices and associated electronics is required \n
