Cocktail Server

Description

Reports directly to the Beverage Supervisor. The Cocktail Server's primary responsibility is to provide prompt and courteous beverage service to guests in the casino, restaurant, bar, and lounge areas while maintaining a fun and pleasant atmosphere for both guests and co-workers. Must be able to work under pressure on occasions when serving multiple customers at once. Employee is required to maintain a Southern Nevada Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card. Requires dependable, punctual attendance and be willing to work flexible hours as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:


• Interact positively and effectively with guest and co-workers


• Provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests

• Make recommendations and answer all related inquires

• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks


• Take drink orders and process accurate POS transactions


• Keep Wait Station stocked, cleaned, and organized at all times

• ID customers for legal age

• Pick up glassware and returned to be cleaned

• Set up or organize chairs and tables in the bar, lounge and casino floor

• Maintain company and department standards


• Keep work area in compliance with health regulation and department procedures

• All other duties as assigned
