Fleet Assistant

In this role, you will manage repairs, handle fleet inventory, and ensure accurate documentation for our vehicles. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to maintain efficient fleet services while learning the ins and outs of our operations. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT You will perform daily fleet inventory checks, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking and management You will assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops You will prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in our inventory system You will assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness You will support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles YOUR SKILLS MATTER Education & Experience You have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry experience preferred Computer Skills You possess basic computer navigation skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office applications Organizational Skills You are highly organized, capable of managing fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders, and documentation, ensuring efficient and smooth fleet operations across all tasks Licenses & Authorization You are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship Work Hours & Travel You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (5-10%), some of which may be by airplane Uniform & Language You are willing to wear a company uniform and speaking other languages is a plus WHAT WE OFFER Comprehensive Benefits Package Enjoy healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and pet insurance, along with a 401k plan to secure your future Paid Time Off & Holidays Benefit from PTO, sick leave, and receive time and a half for working on public holidays Bonus Plan Take advantage of a bonus plan based on performance Employee Assistance Program Access support whenever needed through our Employee Assistance Program Exclusive Employee Rentals Benefit from employee-only rental rates, with family rental options and exclusive discounts for employees Uniform & Perks Receive a uniform with weekly dry cleaning, always ensuring a professional appearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
