Medical Account Executive (Outside Sales)

Location: Billings, MT (on-site / field-based; local travel required)

Job Type: Direct hire, permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Territory (examples): Billings, MT & Miles City, MT

Overview

A leading healthcare services organization is hiring a Medical Account Executive to grow patient referral relationships. This is a true outside sales role-ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, building long-term provider partnerships, and making a direct impact on patient access to care.

Uncapped commission + quarterly bonus opportunities

What You'll Do

Build and expand referral relationships with hospitals, physician practices/clinics, and other provider networks
Educate clinical and administrative stakeholders on services and patient-care solutions
Prospect, present, and close new business within your assigned territory
Conduct in-person visits to referral sources and maintain a structured call cadence
Track activity, pipeline, and territory trends using a CRM / call planner
Partner with internal operations/clinical teams to ensure smooth patient service delivery

What We're Looking For

High school diploma/GED required (college degree preferred)
Sales experience preferred (healthcare/medical sales strongly preferred; new grads with strong drive considered)
Backgrounds of interest include:
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) / respiratory
- Oxygen, CPAP, ventilators
- Wound care, diabetes supplies
- Home health / hospice or related healthcare referral-based sales
Valid driver's license + clean driving record; comfort with regular rural travel
Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
Self-starter mindset and team-oriented approach
CRM familiarity is a plus
