Therapy - RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: NICU/PEDS Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience License: NC license Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS for Adult RT; RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP for NICU/PEDS RT Must-Have: Critical care experience required; Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center and/or high acuity organizations preferred Description:Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS.Positions would be designated for adult or neonatal/pediatric patient populations.Respiratory Therapists would be assigned an appropriate patient care workload, whether in ICU areas or Medical/Surgical floors based on departmental needs.The average patient census varies based on workload including post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and emergency department patients.CRT is not preferred but acceptable.Skill requirements include critical care experience.Support within the department includes Lead Therapists on each shift, with a teamwork mindset among the entire team.Technology and equipment used include EMR: EPIC and department-specific equipment such as Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, and cough assist.Experience with HFJV and HFOV is preferred for those working in pediatrics.Floating will not occur; assignments will be based on the traveler's experience and unit needs.The department culture is characterized by excellent teamwork, demonstrated among team members and leaders with extensive tenure and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
