Our Client, the nation’s largest private academic plastic surgery practice serving Long Island and the New York metro area, is currently seeking a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will provide quality patient care by assisting our physicians within a clinical setting. Responsibilities Assist physician with patient examinations and office procedures (suture removal, set-up for minor surgeries, etc.) Clean examination rooms Ensure examination rooms are fully stocked Sterilize equipment Record patient and testing information Manage patient flow Dressing changes Logging specimens Requirements Education and Experience MUST be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program MUST have experience working within the Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery field Ability to speak English and Spanish (preferred) 2+ years’ experience working as a medical assistant Experience working with a fast paced environment Maintain flexibility within schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr Aesthetic Nexus
